Jessamy was born in the UK, and grew up in Yemen and France before moving to Australia as a young teenager. She has always loved animals and always wanted to work with them in any capacity she could. Jessamy did all her studies in Australia and has been working in the veterinary industry as a veterinary technician for the last 10 years in Scotland and the Middle East before moving to Canada 5 years ago. 

In her spare time, she volunteers with St. John Ambulance as an Advanced Medical First Responder, and provides first- aid at events throughout the Okanagan.
