Dr Katie Bennett grew up in Kamloops and attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Becoming a veterinarian was Dr Bennett's lifelong dream. She enjoys working with people and animals, and using her knowledge and hands-on skills to solve problems; veterinary medicine allows her to do all of these things, and she loves that no two days are ever the same.

Her goal with every patient is to ensure that the pets feel safe and enjoy their visit, as well as to communicate clearly with owners about their animal's health, and to answer all of their questions.

Dr Bennett lives with her husband James, their Heeler mix Roo, and their cat name Katniss.
